Great coffee and muffins, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service
The menu is not very extensive and the meal a little on the stingey side for the price. The service was excellent and the beer reasonably priced, however. The windows and doors are wide open to the breeze, which is nice, too.
A very good meal spoilt by napkin wrapped cutlery - what's wrong with laying the table? Also trying to remove one plate before the other diner was finished - Pet hate
Food good, staff friendly. For us the best part of this cafe is having high quality newspapers to read. And btw had the American pancakes and they were great. New recipe I understand
Three of us ordered American pancakes for breakfast. Non of us could eat it. Terrible taste and undercooked. Coffee weak and we asked for an extra shot. Still undrinkable when the waitress came over she told us they were training someone on the coffee machine. Never offered to replace it and still charged us for it. Worst breakfast and coffee we have ever had!
