Rarely complain but that was the worst and meanest Fishermans basket I have ever had. 1 small prawn (this was lovely), a funny tasting small piece of fish, a mussel so tough couldn't eat it, a scallop? that looked like no other scallop I had ever seen (no roe). My wife had pork ribs which were very good. Not just me, the people we dined with had the same and were in agreement. Such a shame as a beautiful location, so disappointing. Complained but heard nothing. Won't be back.
With an amazing view of the sparkling waters of Snapper Creek and a cold beer in your hand, this has to be the best spot in Tin Can Bay - new caterers Peter & Leisa are great - just had a fantastic Sunday lunch today (Sept 2018)
Food was terrible. Chips were soft and soggy. Wine was $30 a bottle can buy same wine for $7.50 everyone at our table was very disappointed with what was served. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed with staff and food
Wanted to try the new menu & catering. So we had breakfast. What a disappointment. The coffee was weak & the staff didn't know the difference between a flat white & a cappuccino. The big breakfast should have been call a small breakfast & the sausage tasted off. We have tried most breakfast place in the area & I must say that the chief at the Tin Can Bay Yacht Club so go out & look at the competition. Then have a hard look at your cooking & sharpen up. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Great food and great hospitality. It was so warm sitting on deck in the winter sun. What is shown in pictures is a $45 hot and cold platter for 2 people and a jug of Raspberry and Lemonade $6?See the size of that prawn
